A concept silhouette created to supplant the idea that utilitarian pieces can never orbit the world of high fashion. In concept, Sona is a sneaker built on top of ASIF's signature ultra-light running bottom. In effect, however, the Sona is a moon-boot inspired foot brace utilizing three oversized straps. These medial in-step sided strap enclosures offer a new take on shoe stability and security. In collaboration with downtown L.A. minimalist artist, Tommii Lim, ASIF has made the Sona its focal point by releasing this shoe exclusively on-line in extremely limited quantity.
